At Image Orthodontics, Pleasanton, Dr. Melissa Bailey leads a team dedicated to excellence in patient care, combining advanced orthodontic techniques with state-of-the-art technology and truly personalized service.

Dr. Melissa Bailey, D.D.S., MS
Dr. Melissa Bailey, DDS, MS, is a board-certified orthodontist and completed her degree from UCLA School of Dentistry with honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious national dental honor society. Dr. Bailey was awarded the California Dental Association’s Outstanding Senior Award for her leadership and community service. While at UCLA, she wrote grants and helped run a children’s clinic providing dental care for underserved communities. After dental school, Dr. Bailey continued her advanced training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Loma Linda University in Southern California.

Dr. Bailey enjoys learning and staying current with the latest orthodontic techniques and innovations and takes numerous continuing education courses. She is particularly interested in clear aligner therapy and co-founded TrayMinder®, an app that she developed to help her patients stay on track with their clear aligner treatment. Along with Dr. Bailey’s deep commitment to orthodontics, she also has completed degrees in business administration as well as piano performance.

Dr. Bailey is passionate about providing excellent orthodontic care while keeping the experience enjoyable and comfortable for her patients. She was inspired to become an orthodontist when she started her own orthodontic treatment while in dental school. Getting braces as an adult taught Dr. Bailey that having a beautiful, healthy smile can provide a person with the confidence to achieve their dreams.
