1. What is ClearCorrect™ Clear Aligner Treatment?
ClearCorrect is an innovative form of orthodontic treatment that works to correct many different types of malocclusions through the use of a series of clear plastic trays called aligners. In many cases it provides an excellent treatment alternative to having traditional orthodontic braces and metal wires.
We utilize 3-D computer imaging technology to correct problematic bites or malocclusions by planning a complete sequence of custom-made clear aligners. This series of clear aligners, each of which is worn for a couple of weeks, incrementally move the teeth into place until the final desired corrections are reached. These clear, customized, removable teeth aligners can give you a beautiful smile without the discomfort associated with wires and brackets from metal braces. 3. ClearCorrect™ CLEAR ALIGNER Procedure
The ClearCorrect™ process involves wearing a series of customized, removable and virtually invisible aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. After you have been evaluated by our orthodontics and are determined to be a good candidate, we will take impressions of your teeth and send them to the ClearCorrect™ labs. Custom aligners are then formulated from precise, 3D imaging technology to effectively move your teeth to the desired position progressively from week-to-week.
Each set of clear aligners is typically worn for three weeks, with every set slightly different than the one before. The entire process usually takes much less time than traditional braces, anywhere from 6 months to 18 months. You will be able to remove the aligners for brushing, flossing, eating and drinking, but we recommend wearing the aligners as much as possible to accelerate the results.
