Dr. Olivia Yue

Dr. Olivia Yue is a board certified orthodontist specializing in Cleft and Craniofacial Orthodontics. Dr. Yue was born and raised in the Bay Area. She graduated as Salutatorian of James Logan High School in Union City in 2006. She then moved to University of California, Los Angeles where she completed her B.S. in Physiological Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors. After graduating, she was blessed to be able to enter UCLA School of Dentistry in the fall of 2011 as a UC Reagent Scholar. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Yue moved to New York City to complete her orthodontic residency at NYU. Following her passion to treat patients whom are born with less fortunate circumstances, she decided to stay an extra year in New York to pursue a fellowship in Cleft and Craniofacial Orthodontics at NYU Langone Department of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Yue has spoken at numerous conferences both internationally and locally presenting her research on Combined LeFort III and I surgical stability in Syndromic Patients.

Outside of the office, she is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pacific Dental School covering both didactic and clinical aspects of cleft/craniofacial orthodontics. She also sits on the craniofacial and cleft team panel at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland as the team orthodontist.

In her free time, she enjoys swimming and yoga. She loves traveling and exploring new places and cultures. She is also a huge foodie and enjoys food adventures with her husband, Shane, when they are not working. She has a loving 9 year old Pomeranian named Tofu.
